Privacy Policy

Updated October 21, 2026

This page explains how Run Your Household uses information when you visit runyourhousehold.com, request a guide, subscribe to emails or contact us. For privacy questions or requests, email [email protected].

When you request a guide or subscribe

The signup form asks for your email address and your agreement to receive the requested guide, getting-started help and occasional practical household tips. MailerLite processes signups and sends these emails for Run Your Household. Subscriber records can include the form or guide requested, signup and confirmation times, consent and subscription status, and technical information collected by the form service, such as an IP address.

We use guide and signup-source information to deliver what you requested, understand which forms are useful and avoid restarting the general welcome series when an existing subscriber requests another guide.

MailerLite also records delivery results, bounces, unsubscribes and clicks on tracked email links. These records help us find broken links and delivery problems and understand which topics are useful. See MailerLite’s privacy policy for its processing, service providers and international data-transfer information.

Your email choices

You can unsubscribe using the link in any marketing email. An unsubscribe stops future marketing emails; it does not remove the public guides from the website. We may keep a limited suppression record so that an unsubscribed address is not added back to routine sends. Requesting deletion is separate from unsubscribing. Email us if you want to ask what subscriber information we hold, correct it or request its deletion.

Confirmation is required for a new subscription. If you receive a confirmation message you did not request, you can ignore it. Existing subscribers may receive a newly requested guide without repeating the general welcome series.

When you contact us

If you contact us through the website or reply to an email, we receive the contact details and message you provide and use them to respond and understand the household task you are asking about. Please do not send passwords, account numbers, financial statements or other sensitive personal information.

Website operation and analytics

The website uses WordPress and service providers for hosting, security and email delivery. These services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information and request logs to operate and protect the site.

Run Your Household uses Google Analytics to understand website visits and interactions, such as guide downloads and signup activity. Analytics can use cookies and similar identifiers and process information about your device, pages visited and how you reached the site. The signup form’s custom analytics event records the form location and guide requested, without including the email address entered in the form. Read Google’s information about Analytics data and privacy.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or scripts may affect forms or other site features. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Advertising cookies

We plan to use Google AdSense to show ads on Run Your Household. When ads are enabled, Google and other third-party advertising partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this site and other websites. These cookies let Google and its partners personalize advertising. You can manage personalized ads in Google’s Ads Settings, or visit AboutAds choices for options from participating providers. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Where a consent or privacy message is shown, use it to review the listed advertising partners and your choices.

Links, embedded content and comments

Links take you to services with their own privacy practices. Embedded content, where present, may collect information as if you visited the other service directly. If a page permits comments, information you submit for publication may be visible to other visitors and may be processed for spam prevention.

Keeping and protecting information

Information is kept for the purpose it was collected, including providing requested emails, responding to messages, maintaining consent and suppression records, and meeting applicable legal or security needs. You can ask us about the information associated with your email address and request access, correction or deletion. We may need to verify that the request comes from the person concerned and explain any information that needs to be retained.

Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Their privacy notices explain their safeguards. No internet service can guarantee complete security.
